How to prepare financial proof for a student visa

Most countries want to see that tuition and living costs for at least the first year are available and have been held for a defined period.

Recent large deposits raise questions. Plan your funds several months before you apply, and keep evidence of where the money came from.

If a parent or relative is sponsoring you, include their income proof, tax returns and a signed affidavit of support.

Keep the paperwork consistent: the sponsor named in the affidavit should be the same person whose accounts you submit.
