Schengen applications are submitted at the consulate of your main destination — the country where you will spend the most nights.

Alongside the usual passport, photographs and financial documents, Schengen requires travel insurance that covers medical emergencies and repatriation for the full trip.

Confirmed flight and hotel bookings are expected, along with a day-wise itinerary that matches them.

If you are visiting family, add an invitation letter with the host's address proof and status in the country.
